Our New San Francisco Office
I am sitting in "my" office on the 35th floor of our new building in San Francisco. I am, at this exact moment, looking a the Golden Gate bridge and eating the cake that was here to celebrate our first day in this office. We had an adventure this morning trying to find the restrooms -- no-one had used them yet -- but otherwise the office looks fairly lived in. Everyone has a great view. I was greeted this morning by the head of security in our DC office who said brightly, "You will be pleased to know that your DC key fob works here!" I was indeed pleased.
Our deposition this morning was cut short. The court reporter could not understand our Bulgarian biochemist so we had to adjourn. We won't resume for several weeks probably. It may take a while to find a court reporter out here who has a background in Slavic scientific terminology. Darn. Guess I'll have to come back.
My project tonight is to find a posh restaurant nearby with good seafood.
